What Your Team Builds:
- High-throughput email delivery services in Golang & Rust deployed on AWS.
- Outbound channel integrations for Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat, and webhooks.
- Event pub/sub infrastructure using AWS EventBridge and message routing.
What You'll Own:
- People leadership: hiring, performance conversations, and growing engineers.
- Backend depth with Go, Rust, C#, and AWS messaging/compute stack.
- Delivery management: roadmap planning, dependencies, and predictable shipping.
Skills Requirements:
- Prior individual contributor experience in messaging or platform engineering.
- Go production experience with high-throughput services.
- Familiarity with Rust async ecosystem and email infrastructure (AWS SES, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
