Job Description
This remote role involves a range of responsibilities related to prescription refills and patient care. You will receive and respond to prescription refill requests via phone, email, fax, and Telephone Encounter, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will prepare and dispense refills, demonstrate customer service when interacting with stakeholders, and compile data to track key performance indicators.
Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, adhering to schedules and quality metrics, and maintaining productivity. Success in this role requires a high school diploma or GED, medical assistant certification, experience in a clinical environment, knowledge of medical terminology, strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word, excellent customer service and communication skills, and a reliable internet connection.
