Job Description

Aprio is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their dynamic team, where you will lead and manage M&A tax engagements, including buy-side tax due diligence, deal structuring, integration planning, sell-side engagements, and post-transaction support. Responsibilities include advising clients on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, restructurings, and related transactions, as well as performing technical research and analysis on a wide range of M&A tax issues. You'll also review financial and tax data to identify risks, exposures, and opportunities during due diligence processes, supervise junior team members, and stay updated on tax regulations and legislative changes. The role involves collaborating with corporate development, legal, finance, and external advisors throughout the deal process, supporting the development of tools and best practices to improve process consistency, and preparing technical memos summarizing key tax issues and recommendations.
