Senior CAD Application Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Deliver complete mechanical designs including tolerance stacks, coordinate CTE structural analysis, and assembly procedures.
• Develop CAD design and software workflows that convert parametric models from NX CAD geometry into formats for engineering teams and control systems.
• Develop software tooling for integrating NX model parameters, coordinate systems, and geometry in existing scientific software.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM related field with 10+ years of industry experience.
• Five years of experience as a design engineer of mechanical, electro-mechanical or thermal-mechanical systems.
• Experienced with programming Python, NXOpen API, Linux, Git and Computational Geometry.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Perform activities such as typing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics.
• Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call.
