Role Overview:
- Lead the design, development, and build-out of balance-of-plant systems for a first-of-a-kind nuclear power plant.
- Own major Rankine cycle systems from concept through commissioning.
What You Will Do:
- Manage system development, trade studies, and detailed mechanical design.
- Perform thermal, structural, and fluid analyses using hand calcs and FEA/CFD tools.
- Interpret codes and standards, support regulatory submissions, and manage external contractors.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of mechanical/fluid system design experience.
- Proficient with CAD, GD&T, and industry codes.
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and ability to drive tasks from concept to completion.
