Key Responsibilities:

  • Own critical mechanisms such as reactivity control and safety system actuators, from concept to qualification.
  • Perform trade studies, detailed structural and thermal analyses using hand calcs and FEA.
  • Develop manufacturing processes, assembly sequences, and test plans for mechanisms.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects from concept to deployment and operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex cross-functional challenges.
  • Improve internal engineering processes, documentation, and tools to support scaling.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years of experience designing mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis (ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.) and CAD tools.
  • Experience through full product lifecycle and strong communication skills.
