Senior Software Engineer (Cryptography)

About the role:

• This is a high-impact engineering role focused on designing and securing the cryptographic foundation of a global identity security platform.
• You will work at the intersection of applied cryptography, secure systems design, and large-scale distributed software engineering.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure cryptographic systems including key hierarchies and encryption protocols.
• Define and enforce robust key management strategies across client and server environments.
• Develop secure, well-abstracted APIs that enable safe cryptographic usage across teams and external developers.

What we're looking for:

• Strong professional experience in software engineering with deep expertise in applied cryptography and secure system design.
• Proficiency in Rust, with additional experience in TypeScript and/or C# considered a plus.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure cryptographic protocols and key management systems.
