Fullstack Software Engineer, AV Maps

The Mapping team is responsible for the infrastructure and pipelines that generate and serve the most critical prior required by autonomous vehicle operations: the HD Map. They leverage vector priors, onboard detection, and offboard data extraction aggregated across petabytes of AV log data to ensure their autonomy stack operates optimally, and manage the end-to-end systems that track map quality, issues, and fixes. As a fullstack software engineer, you will design the architecture and own implementation of Mapping’s service ecosystem. You will engage in requirements gathering across the company and with external partners to ensure services and frontend solve real problems, efficiently. You will integrate tightly with our Operations team and external partners to drive a rapid and robust issue reporting to resolution loop. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to drive spatial visualization solutions for the company and set a culture of engineering excellence within the team, working closely with management and customers to balance speed of delivery and quality of engineering artifacts.
