Job Description
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is looking for fellowship-trained radiologists specializing in chest or abdominal imaging for remote positions. These roles involve joining the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division, with a focus on chest imaging, including X-rays and CT scans for oncology and lung cancer screening. There's also the option to work on interstitial lung disease cases. You can focus on thoracic imaging or have a mix with abdominal or multispecialty imaging.
The department is expanding, providing on-site and remote services for Emory Healthcare and Grady Health System's radiology practices, utilizing AI tools. Schedules are designed for work-life balance, with options like 26 weeks on/26 weeks off, involving weekday and weekend shifts, totaling 182 clinical duty shifts annually. Evening work and multispecialty imaging are available.
Opportunities exist for clinical and non-clinical activities, including teaching and trainee supervision. The department is committed to faculty development and academic advancement. Candidates must be ABR board-certified/eligible and able to obtain a Georgia medical license. Subspecialty training is desired. Faculty rank will depend on experience and accomplishments.
