Certification Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of embedded software including memory management, object code analysis, watchdog timers, and hardware/software partitioning.
• Develop and execute embedded software testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and structural coverage analysis.
• Prepare and review certification documentation in accordance with DO-178B/C.

Regulatory & Stakeholder Support:

• Collaborate with FAA/EASA authorities and provide hands-on support to Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs).
• Ensure compliance with aerospace certification standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support Stage of Involvement (SOI1–SOI4) audits and prepare certification artifacts.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Embedded Software Engineering and DO-178B/C certification processes (minimum 5 years each).
• Proven experience preparing certification documents and familiarity with SAS artifacts.
• Solid understanding of FAA/EASA certification requirements and experience supporting DERs and audit processes.
