What You'll Do:
- Field testing - Daily drone flights for regression, acceptance, and validation, requiring access to 10+ acres.
- Test planning and execution - Define comprehensive test plans, catch edge cases, and know requirements better than PM or EM.
- QA team coordination - Design and schedule test programs, write clear plans, and reduce bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Space to fly - access to 10+ acres and FAA Part 107 Certificate (can obtain upon hiring).
- Hardware QA experience - validate hardware end-to-end, 4+ years in QA for hardware or mobile products.
- Automation mindset - build automation with Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript; experience with Qase and Jira.
