Job Description
Dailymotion is seeking a dynamic and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong interest in site reliability and software production. As part of the Platform team, with a strong experience in distributed software architectures and release management, you will contribute to building our internal Platform-as-a-Service running on Kubernetes. You will also be responsible of the maintenance and the evolution of our CD platform based on FluxCD.
The ideal candidate dreams of efficient orchestration and scalable and resilient architecture. Using AGILE methodologies in collaboration with other teams you will help support Dailymotion's business growth by defining appropriate systems and architectures that can handle our development needs and processing volumes.
Ensure that the platform is reliable and performant through testing, automation and monitoring. Participate in the on-call program to provide application support, handle incident management, and troubleshoot production issues. Ensure optimal use of our Kubernetes clusters in AWS environment, from performance perspective and cost effectiveness perspective, as well as a high level of platform security. Maintain and improve our CD platform and delivery workflows. Share best practices with your peers and collaborate with developers to understand their specifics requirements, while continuously improving the architecture and deepening your understanding of the global system.
