AI Voice Agent Engineer

You'll join our Receptionist Agent Team and own the end‑to‑end API development and AI voice agent building and scaling. You’ll partner with Product and Clinical teams to translate requirements into production‑grade conversational AI and maintaining robust EHR integrations. As an AI Voice Agent Engineer you will design and implement TypeScript/Node.js endpoints for voice‑agent interactions, authentication, scheduling workflows, and secure EHR data exchange. Independently build, test, and deploy voice agents using platforms like Retell AI or Vapi AI—creating custom function‑call APIs and dialogue flows. You will also update and maintain integration layers to connect voice agents to customer EHR systems for appointment confirmation, rescheduling, and logging. Establish logging, alerting, and metrics dashboards to ensure reliability, low latency, and high success rates in live deployments.
