Staff Engineer, Endpoint Agent

Halcyon is redefining what security software can do, with a focus on anti-ransomware innovation. We're seeking a Staff Engineer to help lead the design and development of our cross-platform endpoint agent. This role is instrumental in shaping both the technical architecture and future direction of our Windows, Linux, and macOS protection capabilities. Responsibilities include owning the technical vision and architecture of Halcyon’s cross-platform endpoint agent, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading complex engineering efforts, mentoring engineers, troubleshooting technical issues, and championing technical excellence. Skills and qualifications include experience developing high-quality code in Rust or C++, a proven track record developing endpoint security products, experience in a staff-level or principal engineering role, expert-level knowledge in low-level systems, and strong communication skills.
