About the role:
- Work across the stack on the Seqera Platform, where scientists run Nextflow pipelines on cloud and HPC.
- Own an area end-to-end and help shape architecture decisions with a small, senior team.
What you'll do:
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs and downstream services with Java, Groovy, and Micronaut.
- Implement UI components in Angular and write high-quality, maintainable code with testing and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Design to improve the product.
Who you are:
- 4+ years of experience building and operating production backend services.
- Strong in Java and/or Groovy, comfortable with REST APIs and data modeling, and proficient in TypeScript/Angular.
- Open to using AI daily, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to drive work independently.
