Lead Substation Design Engineer

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Substation Design Engineer to support our growing portfolio of electric utility clients across Georgia and the Southeast. This role will be responsible for the oversight and execution of detailed design for high-voltage substations (up to 500 kV), including physical layout, equipment specifications, grounding, protection and control, and construction support. Responsibilities include leading the complete design of substation projects, serving as the primary technical point of contact, performing design calculations, reviewing design packages, preparing equipment specifications, providing engineering support, developing project design standards, mentoring junior staff, and supporting business development. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, minimum 8 years of experience in substation physical design engineering, proficiency with substation design tools, and strong understanding of codes and standards.
