Deputy General Counsel

Sei Labs is looking for a Deputy General Counsel to help lead the legal function through the next phase of growth as Sei continues to bridge the gap between crypto and traditional finance. This role sits at the intersection of product, regulation, and innovation — supporting incubation efforts that push the boundaries of how digital asset markets operate globally. You’ll partner directly with the General Counsel and cross-functional leaders to shape legal frameworks around next-generation financial products, ecosystem development, and new venture initiatives. The candidate will serve as a senior advisor to the General Counsel and executive leadership on legal, policy, and operational matters. Responsibilities include to oversee legal strategy for Sei’s cutting-edge incubations across DeFi, market structure, and real-world asset integrations.The role also includes to manage and mentor members of the legal team while scaling processes across multiple entities.
