About the Role:
- Seeking a Director of Data Engineering to define vision and execute long-term strategy for global data ecosystem.
- Oversee re-architecture of data warehouse into a world-class platform, including migration to modern infrastructure.
- Lead data governance framework and cross-functional data democratization strategy.
Your Mission:
- Define 2–3 year vision for data platform; align with company goals.
- Build and scale multi-tiered engineering organization; foster culture of excellence.
- Establish global data quality, security, and privacy standards (GDPR/CCPA).
- Optimize TCO of data infrastructure; manage vendor relationships and budgets.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years experience, 5+ in senior leadership.
- Deep technical expertise in modern data stack (Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, Airbyte).
- Proven change management leading large-scale cloud migrations.
- Strong business acumen to communicate technical investments to non-technical stakeholders.
Compensation:
- Base pay range $223,975 - $310,000 USD.
- Total compensation may include equity and variable pay.
