Role Overview:
- Own the completeness and accuracy of the regional Balance Sheet and P&L.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP for statutory reporting.
- Act as escalation point for significant accounting issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis and reconciliations.
- Provide input on judgmental accounting issues and process improvements.
- Review high-risk journals and oversee internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Experience in statutory year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like MS Dynamics, NetSuite, or Hyperion.
