Clinical Nurse - Radiation Oncology Office Practice (MSK Westchester)

Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Office Practice Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Commack center. You'll function in reciprocal Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide continuity of care throughout various stages of Radiation Oncology treatment and follow-up. You will also: Provide clinical support to patients receiving radiation therapy and assist with their pre and post management and care. Engage in complex symptom assessment and triage of symptom related calls/inquiries. Perform patient assessment and offer symptom management. Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum. Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in ambulatory setting.
