Code Review
The Role:
- Build gameplay systems across a diverse portfolio of game prototypes covering various genres.
- Own multiple complex gameplay features from prototype to polished implementation.
- Profile, optimize, and debug code and content to keep prototypes performant on TV via cloud streaming.
Collaboration and Process:
- Partner closely with designers, artists, producers, and other engineers to integrate and improve features.
- Participate in code reviews and create documentation and functional tests.
- Adapt engineering approach to fit genre, audience, and platform.
Who We're Looking For:
- Proven experience prototyping and shipping two or more titles as a Gameplay Programmer across varied genres.
- Excellent technical knowledge in C++, optimization, math, and debugging with extensive Unreal Engine 5 experience.
- Strong gameplay and design sensibilities with ability to partner with designers to shape systems.
