Job Description
Lifeway is seeking a Principal Software Engineer responsible for working across diverse teams and providing direction on developing and integrating applications and services. This role requires someone who can acknowledge and embrace the varying needs of different systems and stakeholders. Balancing back-office requirements of reliability and consistency with customer-oriented requirements that demand agility and responsiveness is a priority. You will play a key role in helping the business and technical teams think strategically about system responsibility.
The ideal candidate actively engages in all levels of development, champions best practices, and encourages teams to adopt and implement them. The Pr. SE leads, collaborates, and coordinates with developers, managers, and analysts across teams to design and architect integrations to support the flow of data between systems. This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.
