Lead Automation Engineer

Role Overview:

• This role starts fully remote and moves to a hybrid set-up of two days on-site once the Lisbon office opens.
• You will be the quality champion for your mission team, leveraging standardised automation tooling to maximise coverage.

What You'll Do:

• Define and own the testing strategy for your domain, partnering with the QA Team Lead.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated tests for API, UI, and mobile.
• Champion a shift-left mindset and use data-driven insights to predict high-risk areas.

Who We're Looking For:

• 5+ years in QA Automation/SDET roles with strong C# or JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
• Experience testing complex financial systems, including card issuing and transaction processing.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, and API testing frameworks.
