Job Description
Design, implement, test, and deploy product features across the stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Postgres (RDS), Redis, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB Python/Django, React, Tailwind / Material-UI. Integrate with subprocessors and evolve system architecture for performance, reliability, security, as usage grows. Drive engineering best practices, e.g. code review, automated testing, observability, CI/CD. Gradually mentor and manage the engineering team: run daily standups, resolve blockers, run architectural design reviews, manage delivery dates, identify areas for improvement, deliver feedback. Estimate and communicate delivery timelines to Product, CS, Sales. Monitor and resolve production outages & incidents, security vulnerabilities, and SOC 2 compliance requirements. Provide technical support to CS & Sales as needed. Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and defining the engineering culture.
