Job Description
The Network Engineer shall design, plan, establish, and optimize networks and enterprise network architecture. This role shall analysis and design of voice networks, LAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services. The successful candidate will work independently or with a team to develop, design, and plan for installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project inception to conclusion. They will analyze the problem and the characteristics of the information to be transported, define the problem, and develop system requirements and network specifications. This includes closely coordinating with other information system professionals to ensure proper implementation of network services. This position supports the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at multiple DLA locations to support current and new technologies.
