Plan, coordinate and manage small, medium and large projects, while coordinating with customers and other agencies to deliver solutions. Design and develop new software applications and solutions, as well as provide major enhancements to existing systems. Lead architecture and design efforts to ensure robust, scalable, and secure software solutions across varied platforms and environments. Serve as a key technical advisor to management, providing input on project planning, technology roadmaps, and strategic direction.
The Network Engineer will design, plan, establish, and optimize networks and enterprise network architecture, including voice, LAN data, and wireless networks. The role requires strong analytical skills to define problems, develop system requirements, and coordinate with other IT professionals for proper implementation of network services.
Serve as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of DoD information systems. Perform DOD cybersecurity processes for authorizing information systems or advising on systems undergoing authorization. Apply knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls to assess and authorize large-scale IT infrastructures. Determine the severity of identified vulnerabilities and assess potential impacts on system authorization.
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product Owners to refine the backlog. Implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications. Expertise in AWS or Azure cloud management, including key services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, Lambda, Load Balancing/Auto-Scaling, and IAM for managing cloud infrastructure.
Answer user calls, emails, and trouble tickets to provide general user support related to their IT equipment or other needs. Creates, updates and closes out help desk tickets. Works with other Tier 1 and Tier II Support staff to ensure proper hand-off of tickets for prompt resolution and if needed escalation.
