Medical Assistant - PRN

The Medical Assistant assists in rooming patients, taking vital signs, measurements, preparation of exam rooms, stocking supplies, assisting the physician, interacting with other departments and documentation in the electronic medical record. The Medical Assistant works with and under the direction of the RN. They assist providers, nursing and other health care professionals with procedures and the intake and depart processes. The Medical Assistant accurately documents information in the Electronic Medical Record ( EMR ). They are responsible for prepping clinic to be prepared for that day's clinic to include monitoring supplies and equipment and ordering supplies. The Medical Assistant utilizes good clinical judgement to identify problems and interventions with patients and families and referral to RN as needed.
