The International Middle East Reporter Intern will cover international content focused on the West Indies region as their regular beat for Modern Treatise. Responsibilities include writing a weekly column covering the social, economic, and political topics related to the West Indies from a Middle Eastern perspective, along with special region-related coverage. This is a virtual and unpaid internship lasting 6 months, offering valuable writing experience. The candidate should be adept at understanding the domestic and geopolitics of the Middle East, the nuances of domestic politics across the Middle East, and able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives, relying on fact-based evidence.
