Engineering Manager – Data Platform

Team Leadership:

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary data engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers through coaching and structured feedback, and drive hiring processes to attract top global talent.
• Create an environment where engineers are empowered to deliver with autonomy and pace.

Technical Ownership:

• Own the full data lifecycle from ingestion to serving, driving architecture design, code reviews, and complex troubleshooting.
• Set best practices for data modeling, pipeline reliability, testing, and data quality, ensuring scalable and cost-efficient systems.
• Ensure secure data handling aligned with PCI-DSS and GDPR, and champion an AI-first engineering culture.

Cross-functional Execution:

• Collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, ML, Finance, and Compliance teams to deliver against a fast-moving roadmap.
• Bridge the gap between data consumers and engineers to ensure data products are reliable and well-documented.
• Drive infrastructure evolution to support new markets and regulatory requirements, translating business priorities into engineering goals.
