Engineering Manager

Lead and grow an infrastructure team of 3–5 engineers focused on SRE and DevX initiatives. Drive reliability, observability, and performance across Maze’s services and infrastructure. Design and evolve internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure that enable product teams to move fast and safely. Prepare infrastructure and tooling to support AI/ML workloads at scale, ensuring reliable performance and cost efficiency as AI usage grows. Lead and support a team of engineers focused on building and scaling the platform that powers Maze’s product teams. Partner with peers in engineering leadership to define technical strategy and drive initiatives that improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience. Collaborate with stakeholders across Product and Engineering to ensure our infrastructure, tooling, and processes enable teams to deliver efficiently and confidently. Bring a thoughtful, people first approach to performance, feedback, and development conversations. Own incident management processes, including on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement of system reliability and MTTR. Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing engineers who are excited about the intersection of infrastructure and AI. Balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery in a high growth, remote environment.
