Staff Back-End Engineer

Nerdy is seeking a skilled Back-End Staff Software Engineer to contribute to our mission of enhancing learning experiences. This role involves ensuring code quality through reviews and mentorship, working closely with product managers and designers, and innovating solutions for scalability and performance. The engineer will contribute to the engineering department's strategy and vision. The position requires at least 10 years of software engineering experience, experience with Go, Ruby, or Python, significant experience in AWS cloud architecture, and familiarity with modern software engineering practices and AI-native tools. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach, involving both coding and reviewing code to implement customer-facing solutions.
