Role Overview:
- Oversee Avery Dennison's innovative software products and lead cross-functional development teams.
- Direct the software development lifecycle from conception to deployment and operation.
- Balance third-party integrations with bespoke solutions to support profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop software for digital screens and ESL integrations as an individual contributor.
- Integrate hardware from third-party vendors into the centralized platform.
- Support in-store pilots by troubleshooting live production issues and deploying hotfixes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience as a Lead, Principal, or Founding Engineer in a startup or high-growth environment.
