Responsibilities:
- Ensure high system reliability and performance across production environments by proactively monitoring infrastructure and identifying bottlenecks.
- Continuously monitor customer databases to detect issues, support incident response, and perform root-cause analysis.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of expert-level experience in SQL, database engineering, or similar technical operations roles supporting enterprise production.
- Strong Sybase/SQL Server experience including performance tuning, query optimization, and database maintenance.
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux server administration, scripting, and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
Preferred:
- Experience with healthcare IT systems such as PACS, RIS, or medical imaging platforms and knowledge of HIPAA, DICOM, or HL7.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization technologies, and DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are advantageous.
