Job Description
As a Junior Technical Underwriter, you will conduct research on technologies related to cryptocurrency risks, including hardware, software, and smart contract design, and market trends. An individual in this role will assist in the analysis and evaluation of crypto-related risks for enterprise clients of all kinds, including many of the world’s leading custodians, exchanges, and miners. You will support the underwriting process by gathering and interpreting relevant data, with the expectation to develop the skillset needed to lead an underwriting process independently within one year of being hired. You will also contribute to business development initiatives and client-facing materials and support cross-functional teams to develop and refine underwriting methodologies, including data collection, risks assessment, and risk pricing as well as conduct research on the latest developments in cryptocurrency, AI and crypto mining infrastructure, cyber-security, and adjacent risk vectors.
