Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Here at Airtasker, the Engineering team is responsible for architectural problems and building scalable solutions for the Product. They are obsessed with experimentation, new technologies, best practices, process improvement, and innovation. They develop new platform features, iterate on existing features, assume the development of solutions, and participate in collaborative code reviews. In this role you will work autonomously, while taking ownership and accountability for successful delivery. You will clarify requirements, technical research, and work with stakeholders. You will engage in discussions about the company's strategies and goals, and collaborate with Product, Data and Design team members on cross-functional business initiatives. You will also be actively involved in hiring and developing strong future team members by offering guidance and mentorship.
