Role Overview:
- Provide comprehensive behavioral health for common child psychiatry conditions in an extended virtual model.
- Work per diem (12-15 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) with opportunity for growth.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with appropriate licensing, board eligible or board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Active NY DEA license required; NY Medicaid number preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and assess mental health disorders, order tests, and prescribe medications as part of treatment.
- Educate patients and parents on medication side effects, benefits, and proper usage.
Compensation:
- Salary range $120-$135 per hour, varying by experience and location.
- Part-time (20+ hours) positions are benefits eligible.
