Job Description
The Data Imports Analyst will be responsible for interpreting complex payment and allocation spreadsheets, creating guidelines, and manipulating data for import into the system of record on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This role involves driving the creation of standard procedures and performing various duties. Specific responsibilities include interpreting complex spreadsheets and analyzing them against merger and agreement documentation, ensuring data accuracy in the system to support internal and external reporting.
The primary responsibilities include interpreting and auditing payment and allocation spreadsheets, creating guidelines for data interpretation, and manipulating data for import into the system of record (NetSuite). The analyst will import and export files, confirm data accuracy for shareholder reporting, work with other teams to ensure data meets requirements, and maintain up-to-date operational manuals and guidelines. Additional tasks involve managing vendor relationships, responding to inquiries, performing account reconciliations, and driving systematic process improvements.
The required qualifications include 2-3 years of financial operations experience, a bachelorβs degree, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, and the ability to develop work streams and work-arounds. The analyst should have experience in a cross-functional and cross-geographical environment, high awareness of operational risk, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of the M&A process is a plus.
