Data Center Load Management & Optimization Lead

As part of Intersect’s Origination & Trading team, you’ll lead the integration, management and optimization of Intersect’s Data Center private use networks (PUN) in ERCOT. Reporting to the Head of Origination, Trading & Valuation, you’ll own the QSE relationship, manage the PUN setup and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. As PUNs become operational, you will work with the trading team to form the commercial strategy to optimize and manage the loads with the generators and in the market. This role blends technical expertise, market optimization experience, regulatory fluency, and commercial creativity to deliver strategies that enable Intersect’s portfolio to serve PUN load. To be successful, this candidate must have experience optimizing loads and generation in ERCOT. You will collaborate across Development, Engineering, Finance, Construction, and Operations, as well as with utilities, regulators, and offtakers.
