Backend Engineer Consultant

Role Overview:

• Inflect is seeking an independent Backend Engineer Consultant in Brazil to build, deliver, and maintain provider adapters and gateway backend services.
• This autonomous consulting engagement focuses on API integration architecture, Go backend service delivery, and migration to self-serve provider onboarding workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and maintain Go-based backend services and provider adapters for network, bare-metal/GPU, and data providers.
• Contribute to schema mapping frameworks, GUI tooling, validation guardrails, and LLM-assisted integration frameworks.
• Own assigned adapter surfaces end-to-end, ensuring high availability, observability, and automated resiliency.

Required Expertise:

• 3–5 years of professional backend development with production expertise in Go, REST/API integrations, Postgres, Redis, and AWS.
• Practical experience with provider adapters, schema mapping, message-queue/event-driven architectures, and Node/TS or LLM integration stacks.
• Fluent professional English for async collaboration across Brazil, Poland, and US time zones.

Engagement Terms:

• Fixed-rate monthly B2B agreement via Rippling at $5,000–$6,500 per month depending on experience.
• Contractor must maintain a Brazilian corporate entity (PJ/CNPJ) and issue electronic NFS-e invoices.
• Complete flexibility over work schedule and location with no direct people-management responsibilities.
