Adjunct Faculty

About the Role:

• UMass Global is seeking experienced Adjunct Faculty to assess courses in Bachelors and Masters programs in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership, focusing on evaluating learning in a competency-based education model.
• This role involves supporting students in the MyPath self-paced format, helping them achieve mastery through timely feedback and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate formative and summative assessments using rubrics, applying discipline expertise to determine mastery of learning outcomes.
• Provide timely, detailed, and constructive feedback using a prescribed feedback model to guide students toward mastery.
• Engage effectively with students through discussions, 1:1 support, and occasional synchronous sessions, adapting strategies for a diverse student body.

Qualifications:

• Required qualifications include experience in competency-based education and a master's degree in relevant fields such as Adult Education, Business, or Healthcare Quality.
• Strong ability to provide individualized feedback, excellent communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with online education and assessment practices.
