Job Description
Assist with development, implementation, and management of the EpiTrax disease surveillance system and its Electronic Message Staging Area (EMSA) for the Nevada Office of State Epidemiology (OSE). Provide technical guidance to the OSE Informatics Team on epidemiologic characteristics of diseases and conditions that need to be set up in the EpiTrax system. Reference CDC resources and work with the OSE Informatics Team to develop electronic versions of case report forms in the EpiTrax system. Work with the OSE Informatics Team to develop standard operating procedures and training materials for the broader OSE team on optimally using all of EpiTrax’s functionality.
