Job Description
A successful JavaScript Software Engineer is needed to join our Client's remote team. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications; working with Product Designers and Product Managers to develop applications according to the defined specifications; implementing new features and maintaining the existing codebase; following coding standards and best practices; ensuring quality, clean, tested code is produced; creating, maintaining, and owning code and application documentation; assisting the Support and Engineering team in debugging and troubleshooting software defects; coaching and mentoring junior software engineers; helping create team and development processes and select tools; developing and maintaining a solid understanding of the Client's technical architecture; conducting code reviews and supporting all engineers in the team; and contributing to research and specification phases with Product Managers when exploring new product opportunities and features.
