Responsibilities:

  • Guide and partner with volunteer clinicians and researchers in developing scientific statements, advisories, guidelines, and conference programming.
  • Provide consultation and approval on science aspects for staff-created programs, publications, websites, press releases, and marketing materials.
  • Synthesize, analyze, and communicate the current state of science and medicine to lay and professional audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical or health-related field with cardiovascular foundation and at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology, physiology, or related areas, plus strong scientific writing and publication history.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with expected pay range of $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and geographic differentials.
