The American Heart Association’s Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit, voluntary health organization. The internship will work with the Association’s Health Care by Food initiative to collect and distill outcomes from state Medicaid demonstration projects on food is medicine.
Responsible for business development and overall account management within assigned and emerging life sciences and pharmaceutical companies resulting in achievement of annual revenue targets and company engagement across the Association. This role will work closely with the clinical studies department supporting the growth and sustainability of the Association’s work in obesity, cardiogenic shock, and overall clinical studies services.
As an intern supporting our National Heart Walk Teams, you will play a key role in driving campaign success with some of our nation’s largest employers, planning and executing their 2025-2026 Corporate Fundraising Campaigns. Individuals participating in the internship program are provided with an opportunity to gain important and practical job skills to be successful in a non-profit environment.
This internship supports the Data Science team and offers hands-on experience in data science and statistical analysis within clinical or biomedical research settings. Interns will contribute to the development of machine learning models, conduct experimental design and evaluation, and assist in summarizing results and drafting manuscripts. You will have the opportunity to work closely with staff across departments and contribute to impactful, high-quality research.
Responsible for overall account management within assigned and emerging pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and device companies nationally, resulting in achievement of annual revenue goal and company engagement across the Association. The ability to build relationships with both internal and external parties and understand organizational priorities in line with the Association's mission is critical to success. This candidate will be able to work with their assigned organizations to understand their strategic priorities, pipeline, budget, and uncover and translate opportunities for engagement.
The Temporary Marketing Research Manager works remotely as part of the Market Research Team within the National Brand Marketing Team of the American Heart Association. They will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization to design and deliver exemplary primary and secondary market research, producing insights to inform the most critical decisions in pursuit of the mission.
