Seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in backend testing, a passion for quality, and hands-on expertise in automation frameworks. Responsible for building and maintaining robust test suites for web services and APIs, ensuring the reliability, performance, and correctness of critical systems. The ideal candidate combines a strong automation mindset with the ability to design and execute effective manual test strategies where needed, especially in complex service-oriented environments.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated API and service-level test cases using Karate and Postman, collaborating with teams to define test strategies, and contributing to CI/CT pipelines. Expertise in backend systems, APIs, RESTful services, Docker, Agile/Scrum, and debugging backend systems is required.
