Facilities Maintenance and Quality Control Specialist

The Quality Control Specialist will review DMWOs and PRQs to ensure they meet minimum quality standards and are accurately coded. They will provide final approval of DMWOs in Maximo, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant. Review of PRQs entered into the BPERM system will verify proper entry of funding codes based on the type of work requested. The role involves conducting recurring and ad hoc training sessions on DMWO development, Scope of Work writing, cost estimating using RS Means/CostWorks, and Maximo system use. Mentorship and technical guidance will be provided to facility managers and support staff and the specialist will assist in the continuous improvement of processes and templates for DMWO and PRQ development. Identifying and recommending corrective actions for any recurring deficiencies in submitted work orders or project requirements is essential, along with maintaining documentation of reviews, approvals, and training activities for program audit and performance evaluation purposes. Communication with stakeholders is key to clarifying requirements and supporting timely approvals.
