About the Role:
- You'll build trusted data models and analytics capabilities that help Virta operate at scale.
- You'll partner with engineering and business stakeholders to turn ambiguous questions into reliable solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement dbt models and BigQuery datasets with deliberate choices about grain and relationships.
- Develop LookML views and dashboards, maintain consistent metrics, and validate outputs against source systems.
- Automate tests, resolve data discrepancies, and support AI/ML features with governed semantic data.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in analytics or data engineering with advanced SQL and strong data-modeling judgment.
- Hands-on dbt and LookML experience, plus BigQuery or comparable warehouse knowledge.
- Strong engineering practices, Python/Go for automation, and ability to own work from scoping to deployment.
