Senior Data Quality Engineer

This role partners closely with the Data Test Lead to expand validation coverage across critical datasets and pipelines, ensuring reliable, privacy-conscious, and production-ready data for analytics and applications. This Senior Data Quality Engineer will ensure rigorous data normalisation and correct population across a large-scale data pipeline; manage workflows that handle breached information and other sensitive data in line with privacy controls and data contracts; and enhance and maintain our in-house synthetic test data generator to power regression suites and privacy-preserving test scenarios. Responsibilities include implementing data validations for key datasets and ETL jobs, building and maintaining regression test suites for the top data products, partnering with the lead engineer to automate dataset provisioning for integration tests, supporting validation and testing for internal products, contributing to CI pipelines, and collaborating with team members to deliver synthetic datasets and validation strategies aligned to data privacy requirements.
