Shape and scale Sardine’s end-to-end quality function - spanning automation, manual testing, frameworks, and strategy. Lead a growing team of QA engineers while also contributing technically to ensure products are robust, scalable, and reliable. This is a 70% IC and 30% management role involving close collaboration with Product, Sales, and Engineering.

As a Mid-level QA Automation (Java) professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and executing automated test cases, as well as performing manual testing to guarantee that our applications meet the highest standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions that exceed client expectations.

Take ownership of test automation efforts and help scale quality engineering across teams, build reliable, scalable, and well-documented test coverage that supports continuous delivery goals. Extend and maintain the existing test automation framework (Playwright + JavaScript/TypeScript). Build end-to-end UI tests and API test coverage. Collaborate with QA, Engineering, DevOps, and Product to embed testing in the development lifecycle.
