Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator

AECOM is seeking a Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator for an on-call, as needed opportunity. This remote role reports to an EPP Greater West Team Leader and integrates with AECOM’s Cultural Resources team. Responsibilities include managing projects (survey, testing, data recovery), archival research, technical report writing, permitting, data collection, and GIS mapping. The role involves working independently and as part of a team, supervising personnel, and performing project management duties such as forecasting, tracking, and client liaison. Candidates will contribute to growth of department through marketing pursuits including proposal preparation, interviews, and business development.
